my street
Bains larkin'
quiet street
cul de sac
quiet kids
not so much
Screech zombie GRAAH!
She can't do noise
no filters no tolerance
but asking for a little peace
didn't go well with
her down end
Later, a party
next door back
set forth at me
outraged
said I was ok, but
she should butt out
leave her daughter
to screech untrammelled
all smoothed out now
civility restored but
it'll be summer again
soon enough
